Livemon architecture is made up of three components:

• Livemon Data Engine
• Livemon Database (MySQL)
• Livemon Reporting

Livemon Data Engine: Livemon Data Engine is the core component that schedules the task of collecting traffic information from the log source and processing it to the Livemon Database. It runs as a Windows Service on Windows Server and as an application in Linux. Livemon uses minimal system resources to process huge amount of log files.

Livemon Database: Livemon uses Mysql - the most popular open source database that offers high performance, reliable database management for high-volume, business critical applications. Mysql database stores the website traffic information collected from the log files.

Livemon Reporting: Livemon Reporting Server is a PHP application. It allows Users to login and view Livemon reports for a particular website and allows the Administrator to configure and manage sites that Livemon monitors.
